B Positive is the motto of Alexandra and Matt Pearl who were diagnosed with Fanconi anemia in 2001. Their B+ blood type and hopeful spirits spark the founding of B Positive, Inc. The 501c3 organization has several key goals:
v Helping find a cure for Fanconi anemia
v Raising money for FA research
v Increasing awareness and registration for the National Marrow Donor Program
v Funding medical expenses for FA families in the St. Louis area
v Improving the quality of life for FA children and their families in the St. Louis area
B Positive, Inc. has award more than $100,000 in grants to the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, Angel Flight and Camp Sunshine.

Diane is the mother of Austin, Alexandra and Matt. She has co-authored and published five financial books and currently is writing Purpose For the Pain, a story of faith, family and friends facing the medical challenges of Fanconi anemia and two bone marrow transplants.
She volunteers at the children’s schools and hospitals, speaks regularly for Ronald McDonald House charities, Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, and the National Marrow Donor Program. Her favorite is maintaining this site started in 2001 to inform and inspire other families.
